I had no idea that November was American Diabetes month. Diabetes runs in my family and this post was very informative and the statistics are overwhelming. I believe that staying active and eating a clean diet is the best way to treat diabetes.

How will this foundation get the message delivered? and does educating them actually raise their morbidity rate? I get that unsafe medical practices are involved – but does educating the women keep the male doctors from treating them the same? What will we do to address this?

Wow! I hadn’t really thought of this like this. It is so much more natural to just eat less than to go on a rigourous exercise routine. I am all about natural and healthy. It’s hard to keep them separated sometimes. Thanks.

We were talking about this today! A friend just got a tetanus shot and felt like her arm was going to fall off, while her boyfriend (who’s about twice her size) felt just fine. This “one-size fits all” approach to vaccines seems pretty silly to me.

I never knew that men need estrogen to produce sperms. That’s weird!
Does that mean that if my husband take some estrogen shots he will produce more sperms?

A lot of people I know found out they had diabetes because they did a science experiment during a open doors day of universities.
